Mel's Life: Trinidad

The last time I went to Trinidad was 10 years ago for a family reunion, so when I found a ticket for $280 I knew I had to go back. This time I decided to take as much photos a possible to capture my experience. It was great seeing my family and I hope to go back soon (for carnival lol).

VIOLETTE is Back

I blogged about Vashtie a while a go in my celebrity style post and I was super excited to see that she relaunched her Violette line. The current line pays homage to her West Indian roots (she is a fellow Trini!) and references many popular sayings and items from the Caribbean.
