I'm sure by now everyone is aware that Solange Knowles killed the entire wedding game over the weekend when she married her long time beau Alan Ferguson. Solange in true icon status had several outfit changes that only got better as the night progress. Seriously this is everything that I could imagine a wedding should be between two creatives.

Lupita Nyong'o won her much deserved Oscar last night but I think it's safe to say that she has won over many of our hearts as well. She is absolutely gorgeous, charming, intelligent, and a budding style icon. I cannot even put it into words how much I admire this woman. Kudos to her and I cannot wait to see where her career takes her.

She can pull off classic chic as well. I am super excited that No Doubt is back! I am loving all the promo, which means more Gwen!

Haute or Not: The MET Gala

The MET Gala was held last night in New York and I was surprised that this year celebs played it kind of low key (with the exception of one Mrs Carter). See who made our HAUTE list and which starlets sadly made it on the NOT list below.

**The HAUTE LIST**

The Knowles sisters brought it last night. Solange looked fresh and youthful in Rachel Roy. The yellow popped on the red carpet. Leave it to King B to bring the dramatics. The songstress and new mommy rocked sheer feathered gorgeousness by Givency. Rihanna and Chanel Iman both looked uber sexy in Tom Ford. Their dresses made me instantly want to go on a diet lol. Tom Ford continues to be the reining king when it comes to sexy.

**The NOT List**

Unfortunately not everyone brought their A game to the MET Gala. Kristen Stewart's outfit looked confused and was ill fitting. It almost looked like she grabbed her dress out of the closet last minute and dashed to the gala. Kirsten Dunst...uhh the 80's called and they want their power suit back. This look totally aged her. Jessica Biel gets 2 pint solely for the fact that Justin Timberlake makes for good arm candy. Biel looked ready for Easter Sunday church service not the MET Gala. The hair, the shoes, and the dress were just wrong. Which is unfortunate because she is such a beautiful woman. Alicia Keys' suit just seemed off. I cannot quite put my finger on it but im leaning towards fit. It just left a lot to be desired.

Trend Report: The Peplum

The Peplum dress is all the rage this spring, this silhouette is all about 40's femininity. The Peplum is all about showing of your curves. If you were not born with Beyonce's body (sighhhh...one day) no need to fret as this silhouette is creates the illusion of an hourglass figure by cinching in the waist. With the dress making such a statement on it's own try keeping the accessories to a minimum. I suggest wearing only studs and cocktail ring.

Both the Gorgeous Emma Watson and Emma Stone have already taken to the trend. I love how they both give a completely different vibe in their dresses.

Seen on the Scene: Rihanna, Jay-Z, and Beyonce

Jay-Z and Beyonce made an appearance at last nights Knicks vs Nets game. The new parents got cute and playful as they took in the game. I love the fact that even with a new baby, Beyonce and Jay still make date nights a habit. (LOVE THEM!)

Beyonce rocked a yellow blazer, skinny jeans, and wicked pair of printed Louboutins for this laid-back court-side look.

Across the pound pop princess Rihanna was spotted heading to her birthday dinner at Nozomi, for some Japanese cuisine. The singer wore a black jump suit paired with a white fur coat.

The now 24 year old seemed to have a great time. She worked it!

Solo gushes about her new niece Blue saying:

‘I think babies in general are so lovable – and my sister’s baby, Blue, is so beautiful. She is really a beautiful little baby. It’s really special to have a niece because I have a son, so I get to have a little girl too.’

I absolutely love everything about this woman! Her style has really evolved so much. She is treading into style icon territory. I cannot wait for the new album to drop.

Doesn't she just make you want to cut your locks off and rock a mean fro?! (Maybe that's just me lol)

Haute or Not: The Grammys

As many of you Fashionistas know the Grammys were held last night in LA and like many of you my eyes were glued to the red carpet. Many celebs brought their A-game last night (Hi! Rihanna) and well...some not so much.

The HAUTE List!

These ladies looked amazeballs last night. Ironically they were all donning black dresses but each had their own vibe. Rihanna permanently secured herself as my girl crush! Talk about sexy! Last night I realized not only is Adele's voice beautiful but she is stunner as well. She deserved every award she received.

The NOT List

What can I say about these looks. Besides No! No! No! I don't even know where to begin with Nikki Minaj, it's so tragic because she is such an attractive woman and she decides to do things like this. If she likes...I love it. While it was nice to see Taylor Swift switch her style up a bit I was simply not feeling this look at all. I cannot quite put my finger on it. Robyn! Robyn! Robyn! two words "Ill Fit". Snooki is...well Snooki so I really can't expect much from her lol.

I have mixed feelings about this look honestly. It works in a street walker type of way. If thats what she was going for.....she nailed it!

The First Lady of the United States looked absolutely ravishing at last nights State of the Union address. She wore Barbara Tfank's resort 2012 collection. Her hair and makeup were on point per usual. She looked radiant and youthful.
