Tamia's So Into You is a bonafide 90's classic and the F-a-b-o-l-o-u-s remix as well. So I can't say that i'm surprised that Childish Gambino is a fan of the song because honestly its the ish. What I am surprised about is that voice. Whew...I got all the feels listening to this because he really captured the essence of the song and that's what makes this an amazing cover. I wouldn't mind Gambino dropping an R&B album, especially now as the world waits for Frank Ocean's return.

So, I confess I am late to the game. Like, got invited to go to an Internet concert last Friday and didn't go because I kept forgetting to listen to the music late in the game. I finally sat my butt down and listened to The Internet's latest release Ego Death and let me tell you I am here for it. In my defense the only person I paid attention to in Odd Future was Frank Ocean. I listened to Tyler the Creator from time to time but sometimes he left me feeling like I needed to bathe myself in the holiest of holy water. Due to this, the band completely flew under my radar (the group is no longer associated with Odd Future btw).

Anywho, I digress.

Ego Death is nothing short of amazing and has become one of my new favorite albums. It's a perfect blend of Jazz, Neo Soul, and Hiphop. I will totally wear this out until Erykah Badu or Corinne Bailey Rae decide to drop a new album.

Zoe Kravitz (aka my shero) fronts the indie band Lolawolf and they're serving killer electro-pop. Lolawolf is named after Zoe's two younger siblings Lola and Nakoa-Wolf. The band released their first album Calm Down last October and it has been on heavy rotation (word to Spotify). My favorite track off of the album is Jimmy Franco. Take a listen below ;)

Ok...I know you're thinking I am ratchet as hell annnnnnnnnnnd I can't even argue with that but I'm truly obsessed with Trinidad James' song "All Gold Everything". This song is like ignorance personified and I figgin LOVE it lol. I think its because he reminds me sooo much of Jerome (I said Jerome is in the ho-ou-ou-ouse shut ya mouth...yeah I took it there) from Martin!

Rihanna dropped her long awaited Where Have You Been video, directed by Dave Meyers, this morning and she looks amazing per usual. The Bajan songstress displayed her dancing skills, something that we rarely see from RiRi. I pretty much love the entire video from the costuming to the concept of the video.
